Stewardship

Our visioning team has drawn inspiration from an old hymn (Great is Thy Faithfulness) to express aspirations in this season and to direct our stewardship of resources: “Strength for Today and Bright Hope for Tomorrow.” During this pivotal time, we want to strengthen foundational existing areas of ministry and cultivate new growth possibilities, all while rejoicing in God’s faithfulness.

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more.

  • Giving Time

This is a great way to give back without needing a specific skill set. Just show up and provide support! A strong crew of volunteers who regularly show up build strength that supports the church long term.

Examples include teaching, singing, event support, organizing donations, serving meals at ECHO, groundskeeping & property maintenance.

  • Give Gifts

The council provides a recommendation that financial gifts to the church remain undesignated so as not to divert monies away from the needs of the general fund.

Any additional gifts are always welcome above those pledged to the general fund.

  • Share Skills

Expertise in needed areas such as financial expertise (audit committee), communications and marketing expertise, experience and knowledge sufficient for committee leadership service.

Giving in this way celbrates your commitment and ability to get the job done. Your leaderships is essential to the successful operations of the church.
