A ministry devoted to the faith formation and social needs of the youth of the church. Leaders and volunteers create a place to grow in Jesus Christ and put faith into practice.

Children's Message
Sundays during Worship
Children are welcome to remain with their families during Sunday worship. As part of the service, children are invited to gather at the front of the church for a special message. They are also welcome to come forward during communion for a blessing.
Activity bags are available during worship to keep children occupied. A nursery/playroom is also available where the service is livestreamed.

Sunday School
Sunday School is offered seasonally (during the school year) after Sunday Worship at 10:30 am.
We have Sunday School classes for groups K-5th and 6th-12th.

Not-So & Youth Groups
Youth Group for 1st - 8th grades is held at Hope Lutheran the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
Not-So Youth Group is a bible study for those 20-40 years old is held at Hope Lutheran the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

Beginning in 7th or 8th grade, students undergo a 2-year program of instruction, which culminates in affirmation of baptism (when students confess their faith in the grace that they received in baptism as infants or young children). Confirmation helps youth develop a fuller understanding of the meaning behind the Bible stories they learned in Sunday School, cultivate a richer appreciation of the Lutheran heritage, and inspire a life of service in the name of Christ.
In confirmation, students revisit both the Old and New Testaments, study Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, and perform various kinds of service ministry. Each confirmand also meets semi-regularly with a mentor from the congregation. Hope uses the “Here We Stand” curriculum produced by Fortress Press (Sparkhouse) - an engaging course of study that integrates textbook learning with games, fellowship activities, and multimedia presentations.
